A NEW CHAPTER BEGINS

The Long Island Horsemen's Association (LIHA) has a rich history that dates back to 1972 when it was established as the Muttontown Horsemen's Association, a non-profit organization and official Adopt-A-Park for the Muttontown Preserve.  LIHA has expanded its reach and now serves the entire Long Island community, bringing together equestrians and fulfilling its original mission. Despite the name change, LIHA remains committed to providing recreational and educational events while preserving the existing trail system for hikers, walkers, cross-country skiers, and equestrians across Long Island.
